It is always a fun and exciting time when your child starts school, but with this comes the dreaded case of unwanted visitors. After a few weeks of my daughter starting nursery she had come home with the little critters having a party on her head.
Using the nit comb and lotion was alien to me. I didn’t know what to expect. It was actually horrible to use, to be honest it was greasy and something I didn’t wont to use again. No matter how tight you tie their hair in a pony tail at some point in their life they will get head lice.
Even though you can catch head lice anywhere the most common places are School, playing with friends and even visiting family.
After receiving letters afters letters about head lice from school, I had finally come to terms that my child will get head lice. After my other children started school it seemed like once a month I was buying head lice shampoo. So I was well chuffed to review Hedrin protect and go. It states it stops head lice taking hold. Protect your childs hair from head lice and keeps their hair looking healthy.
There are many myths and misconceptions about head lice like
- Only dirty children get head lice.
- head lice jump and fly from one head to another.
- Lice die immediately after treatment.
- Lice live in carpets, beds and clothes.
- Hair lice prefer long hair.
All of these above are myths.
After using hedrin protect and go I immediately noticed how gorgeous it smelt. It is a fruity smell which I was quite surprised about. I also though it would have been quite oily but it wasn’t. You can apply to wet or dry hair and just comb through. It is recommended to use regularly, at least twice a week.
On the whole this product has been a big plus for me. I am hoping that no more critters will be making my childs head their home. So for so good. I would definitely recommend this product.
